Setup is simple

iPhone

To add your card to Apple Pay:

• Open the Wallet app and tap the plus sign. From there, follow the onscreen instructions.
• To make your Mastercard card the default card:
• Open the Wallet app, then tap and hold the card. Drag it to the front and release. You will receive a notification confirming your default card setting.

Apple Watch

• Open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay,” then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.

iPad

• Go into Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay,” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card.” From there, follow the onscreen instructions.

Payment made easy

• To pay within stores, hold iPhone near the contactless reader with your finger on Touch ID. On Apple Watch, just double-click the side button and hold the display of your Apple Watch up to the contactless reader. To pay within apps on iPhone and iPad, select Apple Pay as the payment method and place your finger on Touch ID.

Protect your payments

• Instead of card numbers, Apple Pay assigns a unique account number with a transaction-specific security code each time you make a purchase. Numbers are never stored on Apple servers or shared with merchants, so your card number and identity remain secure. This is just one of the many ways you are protected when you use Mastercard.
